Spanish Hogfish

General information

The Spanish Hogfish has a patch of blue highlight on the golden-yellow body across the back with violet scale margins. It is a beneficial fish for cleaning parasites off of its tank mates. The Spanish Hogfish will need to be kept in a larger fish-only tank, or the reef will become its buffet. It is aggressive towards smaller, docile fish that are easily bullied.
