Water parameters are being added.
The Javanese Damsel features striking coloration when young and has flashy neon colored electric-blue horizontal stripes dashed across its face and upper body. However, as the Javanese Damsel grows, the stripes fade away and becomes grayish blue color overall. As it grows, the Javanese Damsel becomes more aggressive and territorial which becomes little difficult to introduce new similar damselfishes. Although there is no distinct feature between male and female, the Javanese Damsel has been bred in captivity. It is hardy and can tolerate adverse water conditions in a new aquarium, which makes it a very good addition to any reef tank. In order to keep the Javanese Damsel at peace, it is necessary to provide them their own rock work and hiding places. The Javanese Damsel is reef safe and doesn't bother any corals present in the nano reef tank.
