About Fan Bellied Filefish

General information

Fan Bellied Filefish have a mostly yellowish tan body with small white protrusions coming off of its body. Fan Bellied Filefish will do the best with kept in tanks that have a lot of live rock, macroalgae and marine plants in them. Fan Bellied Filefish like to hide in the plants and will also like eating the macroalgae and picking small inverts off of the live rock. Fan Bellied Filefish are peaceful fish, so they should really only be kept with other peaceful to semi-aggressive fish.
