Blue Line Snapper

General information

The Blue Line Snapper has a pointed snout and a moderately sloped head, which makes it a unique fish to keep in any home aquarium. It grows up to 6 inches and needs a medium sized tank. The Blue Line Snapper requires easy to moderate care and makes a good fish for a community tank. It might eat shrimps and fishes that fit into its mouth and is not considered safe to keep in a reef tank. With its unique and splendid pattern, the Blue Line Snapper makes a captivating addition to any saltwater aquarium. If your aquarium is large enough, you can also include other peaceful fish species in the tank but this might lead to some aggression from the Bluelined Snapper. Ideally introduce all the fish simultaneously since this decreases the risk of violence. Do not crowd the aquarium because this will increase the risk of aggressive behavior. The Blue Line Snapper needs a large space in the tank to swim around along with plenty of hiding spots to take refuge.
