About Black Barred Convict Goby

General information

The Black Barred Convict Goby has a white body with black to brown vertical stripes. An aquarium with plenty of hiding places is suitable for this cryptic fish. It is a great addition to the reef aquarium and will spend most of its time resting and swimming within the rock work. It is non-aggressive towards other fish and will not bother invertebrates in the tank.

Cautions

Gobies are considered jumpers make sure your aquarium has a tight-fitting canopy or screen cover to prevent the Gobie from jumping out of your aquarium. Gobies have been known to jump through the smallest of holes in a canopy.
