The Peppermint Angelfish is a rare angelfish, also known as the holy grail of fish in the aquarium industry. While beloved by many before you run off to your local fish store (LFS) to have them get you one seeking this fish will come with hefty price tags as high as $30k.

It gets its peppermint name from its brilliant red with a slight hint of the orange body is highlighted by yellow in the face and vertical white lines along the body, dorsal and caudal fins. Fully grown the Peppermint Angelfish average length is about 2-3/4" (7 cm), so they stay relatively small.
