Atoll is a coral ID application that is an excellent attempt to make an all-inclusive coral identification app. But do know that not all of the IDs and profile the app contains are filled out, and in some cases, it is also missing some information. This is a free app with a cloud base service. The app can simplify programming your powerhead and your LED lightings. The KPS is relatively inexpensive considering its size and controllability, but it comes with a hefty price tag. However, considering that you are getting complete control of your powerhead and lighting on free cloud service is pretty amazing.

In this app, you can also see the breakdown of a say with the Aquaman LRM, and you can set your blues, violets, reds, and ultraviolet through this application. When you are in an LRM setup, you will see a play button in the right-hand corner after taping, which the light will cycle through 24 hours and show you what the light is going to do during a day.

A few hobbyists like to have gel screens, but this app will do that, plus more. You can auto-set it, or you can dial it in for your particular taste and take those awesome Instagram photos or videos to make you look like a professional and get rid of the washed-out-looking tank pics. 7. LRS Reef Frenzy Radio

There are two great things about this app.

Through this application, you can track your parameters, and you can also add fish and corals. You can also get notifications on how often you need to do your water changes. You can get all of this and more with your purchase of the Coral Pro app, just for $1.99.

5. eKoral Pro

You will be blown away when you upload this app on your phone, adn used it to set up your eKoral aquarium controller. Anyone who has to own an aquarium controller knows that it can be a little painful to set it up for the first time.

eKoral have entirely taken the pain out of it. By scanning a QR code at the back of the device, you can easily set up the eKoral aquarium controller. Now, you can do everything from the app, which is very snappy and responsive, and enjoy a lot of ease in the operation of the aquarium controller. 

4. Reef2Reef Aquarium Community

This is a free application available from Reef2Reef and is one way to keep in touch with everything that is going on with Reef2Reef. Reef2Reef is a forum and a great way to educate yourself and others about everything in this fantastic hobby.

3. Coral Magazine

If you don't know what Coral Magazine is, it is the best publication for reef tanks. If you are unable to subscribe to this magazine, now with the app you can get the magazine on the go and not only that, it is also about half the cost.

A one-year subscription to Coral Magazine through the app is going to cost you $14.99.

2. ReefTrace

The ReefTrace app is going to cost you $3.99. It will give you access to several different features, all of which are very helpful when maintaining a reef tank. The most impressive section of the app is the criteria ID section which is powered by MeLove Reef.

This app will also help you track the parameters, find a new coral in the Plaza section and the new local fish store. It is an excellent app, and that is why it holds second place on this list.

This is one of the most expensive applications, but it does have tons of functionality. It has an extensive livestock section in which you can select fish for your wishlist, and you can set up maintenance schedules, feedings, supplemental dosing. You can also track your expenses and much more. This app will run you $9.99 but comes with a top of features.
