ESHOPPS New TankliMates and Bio Lux Media

I am a big believer in acclimation boxes. I feel like if you do not own one, you should.

I use mine for many reasons: acclimating fish to their new home, a temporary holding area after catching a species from my tank until I rehome them, finicky eaters, or even for corals. I have used them to hold frags and to place mushrooms in it with rubble to get them to attach so that I can put them where I want and not have them disappear in my tank.

With that said, I have to admit, I've never had an acclimation box as lovely as ESHOPPS TankliMate just released. The magnets are a nice size that should prevent it from sliding down your tank (an issue I have experienced many times from other manufacturers).

Marine and freshwater application. Dimensions are 12" x 5" x 6"

Could a TankMate L be coming soon? Only time will tell.

Also, they released the new ceramic media called Bio Lux. The new media which is used for bacterial development claims that the square and spiral structure can increase filtration by 3X more without space wastage. It has up to 80% water absorption rate, which means there is more porous space for bacteria development and maximizes filter efficiency. The media is also wrapped with protective mesh to protect the media from damage.

Dimensions are 6-3/8" x 1-1/2" per stack and (4) stacks come in each box. They suggest 12 (3 boxes) for a 100-gallon tank to give you an idea. They can be used to develop healthy bacteria for both Fresh and Marine Aquariums.
