Blizzard Clownfish: all you need to know

Blizzard Clownfish is one of the most famous breeds of clownfish in the fish-keeping hobby. A lot of people like to call them the main Blizzard Clownfish.

PRICES: You will normally spend $40-$60. It just depends upon where you get them from and their size. They aren't too cheap, but definitely worth the money.
TANK SIZE: 30-gallon tank is great for these fish. Some people like to put them in tiny reef tanks like 10-gallons filled with the reef. These fish do great in those tanks too. But bigger is always better.
CARE LEVEL: It is a super easy fish to take care of every beginner. They are also very hardy clownfish.
TEMPERAMENT: They are extremely peaceful, they will be timid initially, but with time they will get used to their tank.
REEF COMPATIBILITY: They can be kept in reef tanks too. They seem to be a lot happier with reefs.
TEMPERATURE: You want to keep them stable at somewhere between 72-78 degrees Fahrenheit.

SALINITY:1.002-1.025
DIET: They are an omnivore. They will eat pretty much everything you throw at them in the tank. Mysis and Brine are their favorites. Pellets are another good thing to feed them. They will also be nibbling on algae.
MAXIMUM SIZE: They will not get more than 3-inches in size, nothing too crazy. These fish tend to grow at a prolonged rate, so if you want a bigger one, you better buy a big one.
COMPATIBILITY: They can be paired a lot of times with the captive-bred Clownfish. It is best to get two of them. They seem to do a lot better that way. They are a lot more comfortable as they come out a lot more.
COLOR: It comes in a nice orange and black, but the main people get them for their signature white color. Breeders first got these colors on them by breeding Picassos together, and they end up with this beautiful fish.
ORIGIN: They are captive bred. One of the main places they come from is Ora.
Breeding: Females are the larger ones, you can breed Clownfish in your tank, but it is a long-step process you have to grow through.
Hosting with Anemone
If you want an Anemone for these fishes to host, it is recommended to get Rose Bubble Tip Anemone. This coral also comes in many different colors, but the most sold on is the red Rose Bubble Anemone. But do know that you don't have to have Anemone for these fishes, but they really admire being kept with one.
