About Firewood Catfish
General information
The Sorubimichthys planiceps is commonly referred to as the firewood catfish due to there not being much value in eating them so instead many times they are dried up and used as firewood instead.
Origination
The Firewood catfish can normally be found in the fast-moving stream with whitewater rapids where sediments if found throughout the Orinoco and Amazon Basins.
