Water parameters are being added.
The Zebra Dwarf Sucker has a general body-shape like other pleco species. They are small with a max length of about 1.7 inches, they have a suckermouth and armor-like body like many plecos. They have vertical stripe-like blotches and their complete lateral line. The Zebra Dwarf Sucker has the highest number of teeth of any species of Otocinclus.
Zebra Dwarf Sucker Pleco are omnivores scavengers and are not a picky eater. They actively feed off the bottom of the aquarium, they get most of their nutrition from leftover food, decaying plants, and algae. If there is no algae or leftover food present, supplement with high-quality flake food, sinking carnivore pellets, freeze-dried bloodworms, and tubifex.
The Zebra Dwarf Sucker Pleco is found in Peru in the Ucayali River and possibly Marañón River as well. These fish are found in mid-sized creeks with clear water and associate with marginal vegetation.
