Curious Wormfish

General information

The Curious Wormfish is a small and elongated fish that belongs to the family Gobiidae. They typically grow up to 3 inches (7.5 cm) in length and have a mottled brown or grey body with a long, slender shape. This species is found in shallow waters, such as tide pools and reef flats, and is often seen poking its head out of holes or crevices in rocks or coral.

The Curious Wormfish is a carnivorous species that primarily feeds on small crustaceans, such as copepods and amphipods. They will also consume small fish and other invertebrates.
